The Makeup Loft is a premiere Makeup Studio located in Plymouth, MI. Founder and owner, Janelle Thomason is an Award-Winning Makeup Artist, Licensed Esthetician, and Founder of Cosmakery Cosmetics.

The Ask: Develop a re-branded identity that feels modern, clean, and feminine thus appealing to both current and future customers. As well as create a Squarespace website and print collateral that reflected these new brand updates.

Design Solution: The logo shape was inspired by a classic beauty mirror combined with an elegant serif for the word “makeup” paired with a clean geometric sans-serif for the qualifying text. Introduced a soft pink color palette to reflect back to the feminine and chic brand characteristics.
