Banya is a boutique spa and wellness space offering contrast therapy and advanced modalities, designed to reinvigorate the mind and body while fostering healing, community, and longevity.

The Ask: To develop a cohesive and meaningful brand identity that reflects Banya’s wellness mission and sets a clear standard for future locations. These brand guidelines will provide direction for consistent design, decision-making, and marketing, ensuring every touchpoint supports the concept’s purpose, experience, and community-driven ethos.

Design Solution: We called this mood Serene Duality. Aligned with the brand mission and values, the design reflects serene beauty while feeling elevated, inclusive, and forward-thinking. Our goal was to capture the contrast at the heart of their services (hot versus cold) through thoughtful design elements. The word BANYA is set in all caps with spacious letterforms for a calm, luxurious effect. Each letter is customized to reflect key brand values, including a curved “Y”that nods to steam or flow. A refined, calm color palette welcomes all and evokes peace, balance, and strength.
The brandmark may first appear as a stylized “B” for Banya, but on closer look, it holds deeper meaning… Each shape represents the first letter of their tagline: P = Plunge, S = Sauna/Steam, D = Detox. The pattern uses the curved “Y,” simplified into a single, thin line that symbolizes fluidity and movement.
