Reebok is an athletic inspired fashion company that pushes the limits of design and technology in everything they create. I was able to work on this limited edition camo jacket that was then sold and produced under the Alicia Key’s line.
I created this camouflage pattern, which was inspired by vintage fabric samples. Collaborating with the fashion designer and color specialist; I was able to be a part of the whole process from sample testing of material to the finished model fittings.
This jacket was sold at select boutiques and online under the Alicia Key’s line in two color options: Purpleink or Antitrust. ................................................... Company: Reebok Global Design Director: John-Erick Forsberg Tech Designer & Manager: Anthony Petrie
T-Mobile Customer Appreciation
T-Mobile is a major International wireless network operator, known for constantly thinking ahead of the next big carrier move. Everything they do has attitude and breaks the norm of what a traditional wireless company is.
The task was to develop an RFP presentation that showcased Mars and PrizeLogic’s capabilities to produce T-Mobile’s customer appreciation app and program. Throughout this process we had to make sure that the app would stand out from competitors and that it would bring the customers something new and exciting.
We came up with an intricate app/program that not only offered the user something new and free every Tuesday, but also included interactive games, prizes, and fun random knowledge. My specific roles consisted of: research, logo exploration, app design, creating intro video, user persona board, and working with the team to get all the assets into the website presentation format.
Ellafly is a women’s apparel brand that believes in craft and artistic expression. I created Ellafly by mixing my personal passions of screen printing, designing, and fashion. I’m the owner and designer of this small business.
This project showcases the branding and graphics I created for Ellafly including business cards, t-shirt designs, social media posts, and print collateral.
Big Y Foods, Inc is an American supermarket chain that operates in Massachusetts and Connecticut. They pride themselves in being independently owned, having great customer service, and offering high quality selections of foods.
Big Y came to The Mars Agency in 2014 looking for a brand refresh. The refresh included in-store signage, banner ads, photography, type lock-ups, tone, etc. The design had to communicate Big Y’s personality and distinguishable attributes in a fresh, new way.
This project won the silver 2015 Communicator Award of Distinction from the Academy of Interactive and Visual arts. This award was given in a new category: "Outdoor/Environmental Advertising Campaign” in recognition of the campaign's in-store signage and truck designs (outdoor). This is an international creative awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals.

Shinola is a start-up company based in Detroit dedicated to making American-made quality lifestyle products. Shinola came to The College for Creative Studies’ Graphic Design Department in 2012 as part of a sponsored project that entailed creating an identity system projected five years out.
Out of 8 groups, our team of 5 designers placed first with the chosen solution. Our identity consisted of: extensive research, print, website, mobile, personas, packaging and brand manual. I worked specifically in the following areas: research, concept, experimentation with materials, user personas, layout mock-ups, packaging ideas, brand manual, and presentations.

My client, Kristin came to me looking for a wedding package that included save-the-dates and a formal invitation suite.
The theme and look of her wedding was very clean, modern, with lots of gorgeous flower bouquets and wooden textures. The design of the save-the-dates was screen printed on the back of old Detroit postcards to coincide with the location of the wedding and add a unique touch to every piece.
The invitation set used clean type paired with floral graphics to add in some colorful visual interest.
Fashow (Fashion Now) delivers fashion specific news using new technologies differentiating it from traditional news sources. Fashion news is delivered in real time; using RFID tagging that occurs as clothing items are being shipped to the user’s favorite stores. These live updates are then fed and shown directly on the user’s custom Fashow watch or bracelet.
The smart bracelet syncs directly with the user’s phone, tablet, and laptop. Users can save their favorite items or purchase items directly from the store. Fashow has three main sections: look, ask, and blog, allowing users to keep up with fashion, while wearing fashion!

Charcoal Animal Drawings
Although I’m a designer by trade, I have always had a strong passion for drawing. I do freelance charcoal illustrations specifically focusing on animals. I always draw large portraits because the detail and texture are my favorite parts.
Below is a variety of illustration work that I was commissioned to do; all are created in charcoal on Rives BFK paper. The drawings vary by size, but all of them are larger than 11x17 in. The charcoal lion which I spent the longest amount of time on is 30x40 in.
Preserve is a display typeface that was inspired by looking through jelly jars and seeing something in a completely new light. Preserve has three weights: bland, sweet, & tart.
Each weight has different complexity, providing options for various design solutions. To create this typeface, I let the process drive the form and drew inspiration from motion studies and capturing stills throughout video clips.

The College for Creative Studies came to our class to develop an evolutionary brand system, media strategy, and communication strategy. Out of six groups, my team of five designers placed with honorary mention for brand story and presentation.
The identity we created had a strong foundation of essence, promise, goal, and objectives. I worked specifically on the following areas: research, user personas, concept, language, student interviews, presentation (designed and presented), visual mock-ups, custom font, and brand manual.

Chrysler is an American automobile manufacturer headquartered here in Michigan under a larger company called, FCA.
I had the amazing opportunity to work on a custom type badge that would later be used for the 2015 Chrysler 200. The custom font was inspired by the curves and attitude of the car. I worked with my manager and the in-house 3-D designer to get the final art rendered and ready for production. ...................................................
